2,000 m³/d Municipal Wastewater Reuse for Irrigation****Municipal Wastewater Reuse for Irrigation — Saudi Arabia

Capacity: 2,000 m³/day · Reuse rate: 100%

In the Kingdom, every drop of water counts twice. We delivered a fully integrated municipal wastewater treatment plant that transforms 2,000 m³ of raw sewage every day into high-quality reclaimed water — meeting Saudi Arabian unrestricted irrigation standards and putting it straight to work greening landscapes and sustaining date palm plantations.

The Solution: Screening and grit removal → MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) biological treatment → ultrafiltration polishing → UV disinfection → reclaimed water storage → distribution to drip irrigation networks.

Why MBR for the desert: With membrane-quality effluent in a single integrated step, the MBR delivers consistently low TSS, BOD, and pathogen levels — even under fluctuating loads typical of growing residential developments. Compact footprint, automated operation, and minimal sludge production make it ideal for water-scarce regions.

Outcomes: ~730,000 m³ of freshwater conserved annually · zero discharge to environment · climate-resilient green infrastructure · fully compliant with Saudi MEWA reuse standards.
